Several charges dropped against former Siloam Springs police officer, wife

(West Siloam Springs-AP) -- A former West Siloam Springs police officer and his wife face three fewer charges in an alleged brawl at their home.

A municipal judge has dropped two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor against former officer Louis Osbourn. The judge also dismissed one of two counts of assault and battery against Cathy Osbourn.

But Osbourn was ordered to pay court costs and fines for allowing an unauthorized person to operate a motor vehicle. Cathy Osbourn was ordered to pay court costs and fines for one count of assault and battery.

Osbourn has resigned from the force.
