(Tulsa-AP) -- Two Tulsans have been hospitalized following a pre-dawn house explosion. Neighbors scrambled to pull the two out of the home after it exploded early yesterday in north Tulsa.
Lisa Morrison and John Weaver were hospitalized at a local hospital following the blast. Fire Captain Hubert Rouse says the fire was caused by a broken gas line connection. Rouse says the attic filled with natural gas and that was ignited by the heat from the furnace. Neighbor Richard Barnett says the back half of the house was on fire while the front half was blown away in the explosion.
