(Kansas City-AP) -- Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops isn't making the Kansas State and Texas Tech games to be anything out of the ordinary this year.

Stoops was an assistant coach at K-S-U for seven years. When he became OU's coach, he hired three Kansas State assistants to join him in Norman.

Texas Tech is coached by Mike Leach, who was O-U's offensive coordinator last year. But Stoops says he doesn't feel any more pressure to beat KSU and Tech than he does against any other team. He says fans and media get more into that than coaches do. Stoops says all conference games are equally important.
