Republican sources say Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating may now be the leading candidate to become George W Bush's running mate. But does Keating think he'll get the job? The governor spoke about the job at a fundraiser in Tulsa Monday night. "George Bush is a friend," he said. "I want to do everything I can to help him, but he has a lot of people in contention that I think would be strong candidates as his running mate. In my case, I would obviously be thrilled and flattered if it were to happen, but I don't expect it to."

Other possible Bush running mates include Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel, Ohio Congressman John Kasich and Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge.
