(Chelsea-AP) -- Herbert Trent McSpadden - the brother of former Oklahoma Congressman Clem McSpadden and great nephew of Will Rogers- died today after the tractor he was driving rolled over him.

Authorities say 64-year-old McSpadden was killed as he was clearing brush along a bar ditch in a residential area near Lake Oolagah. Witnesses say McSpadden had gotten off the tractor to remove some toys in his path.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Ron Hamilton says McSpadden was either caught by the tractor after slipping or fell from the tractor. The tractor and mower rolled over him.

McSpadden was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. He is survived by his wife, Leota; their five children and brothers Clem and Bob McSpadden.
