(Tulsa-AP) -- A man has pleaded guilty to concealing knowledge that a nail bomb was being constructed.

Fifty-two-year-old David Michael Ashmore admitted Monday that he knew the bomb was being manufactured. His son, David Hunt of Claremore, pleaded guilty Friday to aiding and abetting in the construction of the nail bomb.

The bomb exploded in an open area in Inola as law enforcement agents waited for the Tulsa Police Department bomb robot to arrive. The bomb threw debris as far as 84 feet. There were no injuries in the explosion.

Testimony during Hunt's detention hearing indicated the nail bomb was intended to kill a horse belonging to Hunt's estranged wife.

Ashmore could face 15 months to three years in prison, with Hunt facing 46 months to ten years. They will be sentenced on August 14th.
