GROVE, Okla. (AP) -- Two 13-year-old boys were in custody Wednesday on allegations they compiled a list of Grove Middle School students targeted for harm.

Police Chief Mark Wall said the boys were undergoing evaluations at an out-of-town hospital.

They were arrested Monday evening at their homes after the parent of one boy discovered in the boy's room a list bearing the names of middle school students that they apparently intended to harm, he said.

Wall declined to say why police suspected the boys intended to harm the students or what was threatened. He said the investigation into that was continuing.

"Everything is safe and the school is operating normally," Wall said. "There was no type of incident there and no children were in any immediate danger."

Police notified parents of the children whose names appeared on the list.

The names of the suspects were not released. Wall said the two had not had any previous run-ins with police.
