(Oklahoma City-AP) -- As the Class Four-A state champion, Laura Benedix of Harrah is already a good golfer.
But as she got ready for a lesson from a golf pro yesterday, she says she hoped to keep her nerves in check.
The presence of tutor Tiger Woods was reason for being a little jittery.
Woods was in Oklahoma City for a clinic put on by his Tiger Woods Foundation. Benedix was one of 25 players who benefited from Woods instruction.
Woods spent about five minutes with each boy or girl, shaking hands as he introduced himself.
The pupils ranged in age from eight to 18.
The clinic capped a weekend that began Saturday with a series of workshops for young golfers and their parents.
A dinner and auction were held Saturday night to benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation.
