(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Campaign reports indicate that Oklahoma's nursing home industry poured nearly $300,000 since 1995.
Most of the campaign donations were for legislative races. Money was spread among candidates of both political parties.
The industry is under scrutiny on several fronts in the wake of an investigation of the state Health Department.
A top year was 1998, when the nursing home association's political action committee and officials donated more than $130,000 to candidates.
Last year, the industry contributed more than $21,000 to legislative candidates.
Now it's legislators who benefited from these donations who will be looking at the state Health Department and the nursing home industry.
