(Edmond-AP) -- Treas Nelson became the first black player to win an Oklahoma high school golf championship yesterday.
The Lawton Eisenhower junior shot a 3-over-par 73 at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond to win the 5-A girls state championship.
The win comes three days before she will attend a golf clinic put on by Tiger Woods.
She finished the tournament with a total of 146 strokes, one stroke under the next player.
