(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa County prosecutors today charged an Oklahoma State University student with first-degree manslaughter in the death of a man outside a local bar.

James Kohler was charged in the March 26th death of Jodie Hacker.

Police say Hacker was at the Brook Restaurant when he got into an argument with another man who bumped into him. Hacker and his friends left at the same time the man and his friends were departing and another argument ensued.

Officials say Kohler, who hadn't been a part of the argument to that point, punched Hacker and Hacker fell to the pavement, hitting his head.

He died two days later.

Court records show blunt trauma to the head caused his death.

Prosecutors expect the 27-year-old Kohler to surrender to authorities.
