(Waco, Texas-AP) -- They've come from hundreds of miles today for the dedication of a church near the site of the Branch Davidian siege.
Many came with lawn chairs. Some came with video cameras to record the ceremony -- marking the seventh anniversary of the fiery end to the Waco siege.
Alex Jones helped organize the $92,000 construction effort outside Waco, Texas. The radio talk-show host says the new church will serve as a reminder of what he says was an abuse of government power.
More than 80 Davidians died as a fire swept through their flimsy compound, ending a 51-day government standoff.
A judge will determine which side is right, in a wrongful-death suit scheduled to go to trial in June.
