GROVE, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities have arrested a man they suspect of shooting a 26-year-old Grove woman to death Saturday.

Grove police said Melissa Holcomb was dead when they arrived at her apartment Saturday evening.

A few hours later, a Grove man was arrested in Arkansas on outstanding state warrants, said Grove police chief Mark Wall.

Wall said the man was being held Sunday in the Washington County, Ark., jail in connection with the slaying.

Wall would not identify the suspect or the type of firearm involved. He said the shooting may be the result of a domestic dispute.

Holcomb's neighbor, Tiffany Stevens, said the victim's three children were with their grandparents in Kansas, Okla.
