(Tulsa-AP) -- A pair of second inning home runs opened up scoring for Shreveport today as the Captains beat Tulsa 10-to-1 in Texas League Play.
Tim Flaherty homered in the second inning for three R-B-Is followed by Michael Glendenning's home run over the left field fence to put the Captains up 4-0.
Shreveport got another pair of home runs and went up 10-0 in the fourth.
William Otero's homer over left center brought four runs in, and Jeff Allen homered again in the inning to chalk up two R-B-Is.
The Drillers got their lone run in the bottom of the ninth.
Brian Knoll got the win, giving up three hits in three innings of work. Alan Webb was the loser for Tulsa, giving up five hits and seven runs in three innings.
