(Indianapolis-AP) -- The Tulsa Oilers couldn't capitalize on third-period chances and a power play opportunity, as they fell to the Indianapolis Ice 3-to-2 in the first round of the Central Hockey League playoffs last night.
Tulsa beat Indianapolis in four of seven regular-season meetings, were outshot yesterday a whopping 50-to-26.
The second game of the best-of-five series is scheduled for tonight in Indianapolis.
The first-place Oklahoma City Blazers begin their playoff hunt against Wichita tonight at the Myriad Convention Center.
