(Minneapolis-AP) -- Kelly Werner scattered four hits and struck out four in seven innings as Minnesota beat Oral Roberts 11-to-0 Sunday to sweep a three-game series.
Minnesota's C-J Woodrow pitched the eighth, yielding just one hit, while Vince Gangl completed the shutout, pitching a perfect ninth.
Paul Hartmann hit a three-run triple down the right field line in the bottom of the seventh to make the score 11-to-0.
The victory extended the Golden Gophers' season-high winning streak to nine games. They rose to 16-and-eleven.
O-R-U is now 18-and-nine.
