(Fort Worth, Texas-AP) -- One person has reportedly died in the wake of a tornado that swept through Fort Worth, Texas, tonight.

A radio station (K-R-L-D) says the person was killed when a brick wall collapsed. Fort Worth officials haven't been able to confirm the report.

At least 20 people were hurt as the tornado moved through, shattering office building windows, overturning cars and uprooting
trees.

The greatest damage was concentrated in central and northern parts of the downtown area. Several high-rise buildings were heavily damaged.

The manager of a restaurant on the top floor of a 35-story building says it was like a large bomb going off.

Weather officials say the storm also brought damaging winds and large hail as it carved an eastward path through Dallas. Some flights were delayed at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
