(Norman-AP) -- The Oklahoma women's basketball team is headed to the East regional of the N-C-A-A tournament.

The Sooner women are seeded fifth and will play Brigham Young in their first-round game at West Lafayette, Indiana.

The B-Y-U women have a record of 22-and-8 after losing to Utah in the finals of the Mountain West tournament. Oklahoma goes in with a record of 23-and-7.
