TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A teen-ager suspected of stealing a pickup was nabbed by the vehicle itself when it rolled down a hill and pinned him in a creek bed.
Police arrested the 16-year-old suspect early Wednesday after a pursuit. The teen lost control of the pickup and jumped from it while it was still moving. The truck then rolled down a hill and onto the driver.
"It was pretty easy to arrest him after the incident because the car was on top of him," Officer Lucky Lamons said.
The suspect was treated for a broken leg and released into the custody of his parents.
Lamons said authorities will seek charges that include eluding police, possessing a stolen vehicle and driving without a license.
