INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Don Carlisle scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Indiana-Purdue-Indianapolis edged Oral Roberts in overtime Thursday, 74-72, for their first Mid-Continent Conference victory. The Golden Eagles (10-11, 6-3) got a game-high 25 points and 10 rebounds from Derrick Taylor.
Reggie Tate added 16 as Oral Roberts erased a 40-18 half time deficit to tie the game at 65 at the end of regulation. The Jaguars (3-17, 1-8) out shot Oral Roberts 53 per cent to 47 per cent and out rebounded the Golden Eagles 36-27. Walter Moore added 16 points and seven rebounds for Indiana-Purdue-Indianapolis.
