(Atlanta-AP) -- The Reverend Jesse Jackson wants the Tennessee Titans and St. Louis Rams to wear the Stars and Stripes at the Super Bowl in Atlanta this Sunday.
It's a plan to protest Georgia's state flag, which includes the Confederate battle flag.
The Confederate flag is considered a symbol of slavery by many blacks and other minorities.
Jackson says he's not calling for a Super Bowl boycott, but wants the players to show their disapproval by displaying the American flag on their helmets.
He also plans to lead a series of demonstrations against the Georgia state flag in Atlanta on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
