(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa men's basketball coach Bill Self says he's got a different team this year that is more speed than power. But whatever they do, they seem to be doing it right. The Golden Hurricane are 11 -1 and cracked the Top 25 today after taking the championship at the Puerto Rico Holiday Classic last week.

Tulsa handed eleventh-ranked Tennessee its first loss of the season with a 20-point win in the championship game. It's Tulsa's first time in the rankings since February third, 1997. Undefeated Oklahoma State is ranked eleventh, up two spots from last week. Oklahoma dropped one spot to 22nd after losing to Cincinnati last week.
