Tulsa Police Department Sex Crimes Detective Sergeant Pat Calhoun reported home invasion and rape suspect Gregory Kyle Malone is in custody in Holbrook, Arizona.
Tulsa Detective Mike Eubanks, searching for the suspect, contacted the U.S. Marshal Service, which learned through its nationwide network that a suspect matching Malone's description had assaulted a man as he tried to steal his bicycle in Snowflake, Az. earlier this week.
Tulsa police contacted Snowflake police with information that Malone's mother lived in the area. Officers found Malone at his mother's and arrested him today.
He is being held in the Navajo County jail in Holbrook.
The Tulsa County District Attorney is expected begin extradition proceedings early next week.
Malone is wanted in connection with a half dozen home invasions and one rape.
