The last thing Tulsa needs after its seventh-straight loss is a Western Athletic Conference opponent looking to score its fifth-straight home win.
But that's what the Golden Hurricane faces Saturday at the University of Texas-El Paso.
The Miners, who are 4-and-5 overall and 2-and-2 in the WAC, hope to finish the season unbeaten at home for the first time since 1988.
For T-U, almost nothing has gone right at home or on the road this season.
On October 25th, the university fired longtime head coach Dave Rader. Henderson, who was named interim head coach after Rader's dismissal, was happy with the team's performance last week against Fresno State, despite a 28-14 loss.
But he says turnovers remain a problem. T-U has had 24 turnovers in eight games, including 18 interceptions.
