BOULDER, Colo. (AP) -- The grand jury looking into the killing of
JonBenet Ramsey is to meet again this week for the first time in
four months, a newspaper reported today.

The panel, which hasn't met since May 25, will meet on Thursday
and possibly Friday, the Denver Rocky Mountain News said.

Suzanne Laurion, a spokeswoman for the Boulder district
attorney, wouldn't comment on the report, which was unattributed.

Originally set to last a year, the jury's term was extended for
six months until Oct. 20.

During the jury's four-month sabbatical, four detectives have
been investigating the 1996 beating and strangling death,
collecting additional DNA samples and probing the Ramsey family's
affairs.

John and Patsy Ramsey, the parents of 6-year-old JonBenet, are
suspects, though they maintain their innocence. The couple, who now
live in Atlanta, have not been called to testify.

Colorado law allows a grand jury to issue a report about its
findings if it doesn't return an indictment.
