(Washington-AP) -- Bob Barker will undergo surgery Monday to clear an artery in his neck.
Doctors in Washington say the artery is 85-percent blocked and Barker is at risk of a stroke.
The 75-year-old host of "The Price is Right" was admitted to George Washington University Hospital yesterday, after saying he didn't feel well and had numbness in his left arm.
He's said to be resting comfortably and in good spirits.
Doctors expect him to be hospitalized through Friday of next week.
Besides being an emcee, Barker is also an animal rights activist, and that's what brought him to Washington. He was going to lobby for a bill that would ban the use of elephants in circuses and traveling shows.
This is Barker's 28th year hosting "The Price Is Right" -- the longest-running game show in T-V history.
