JAY, Okla. (AP) _ A Delaware County woman has been sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing children in a private day care.
Evelyn Luper is charged with lewd molestation and lewd acts in the presence of a minor.
Assistant District Attorney Nick Lelecas says Luper also will serve 16 years on supervised probation and must register as a sex offender.
Delbert Luper and Evelyn Luper operated Evelyn's Day Care in Kansas, Oklahoma, a small community near the Arkansas state line. The day care was raided and shut down in April.
Delbert Luper pleaded guilty in October to 18 counts of sexual misconduct involving four children. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison.
