Some Tulsa middle school students and teachers got a surprise Thursday to help them excel in their education.
The All Souls Unitarian Church delivered wheelbarrows and wagons full of school supplies to Hamilton Middle School. In the past the church has helped schools out by sponsoring field trips, and fullfilling teacher wish lists.
Hamilton principal Carla Westbrook: "All Souls adopted Jackson Elementary and helped them move from a low performing school to a high performing school, right now we know we're a low performing school, but we are well on our way."
All Souls Unitarian Church will also help bring in tutors, mentors, and career speakers for the students.
