A Muskogee boy has received thousands of birthday wishes.

Dillion Craig turned 3 on Friday. He was born with a severe brain disorder and was never expected to live this long. His family hoped some birthday cards would brighten his spirits, so they put out a request on the Internet.

When the News on 6 introduced you to Dillon early last week, he'd already received more than 1,500 cards from all over the world. His family was hoping for 3,000 cards, a thousand for each year they've had with Dillon.

Dillon's family tells us they've more than surpassed that goal, receiving more than 4,300 cards. 863 of them arrived on his actual birthday.
