OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A lawsuit by the families of two men killed in the 2001 Oklahoma State University plane crash has been settled.

Attorneys and court officials confirmed Thursday that OSU head soccer coach Karen Hancock and the estate of pilot Denver Mills reached a confidential settlement of their claims against Raytheon Aircraft Company on Tuesday.

The case was to go to a civil jury trial on Monday.

An attorney for the Mills estate, Burton Johnson, said his clients found the terms satisfactory.

Court filings show that the Mills estate had asked for nearly $12-million in damages and Hancock asked for nearly $25-million.

Raytheon had no comment.

Denver Mills and Hancock's husband, Will, were killed January 27th, 2001, when an airplane carrying ten men associated with the basketball program crashed in a Colorado field.

The families of Daniel Lawson, Nate Fleming, Jared Weiberg and Bjorn Fahlstrom still have cases pending against Raytheon.
