A number of police chases overnight keep Tulsa area law enforcement busy

An early Thursday morning Tulsa County Sheriffâ€™s deputy chase lands one person in the hospital.
About 3 AM Thursday, a sheriff's deputy was checking a suspicious vehicle near Turkey Mountain when the driver sped off. The driver ended up losing control and crashing into a field near 10500 South 33rd West Avenue.
The driver was hospitalized but we don't know his condition. The driver faces DUI and drugs charges.
A short time later, a Tulsa Police officer tried to pull over a Chevy Tahoe but the driver didn't stop. He finally pulled over at about 36th and Riverside and ran off on foot. He was found with the help of a canine officer and arrested.
Other chases kept other officers busy as well. Shortly after midnight officers tried to make a traffic stop near Xyler and Louisville. The driver sped off but crashed. He then ran away and hasn't been found. Two juveniles in the car were arrested and released to their parents.
And about 1:30 AM Thursday, Tulsa Police tried pull over a woman on Brookside. The woman kept going, even stopping at stoplights. She finally pulled over near 21st and Lewis and was arrested.
The woman told officers she didn't know they were behind her.
