Japan is close to lifting its partial ban on US beef imports. Plus an update on the world's smallest baby.

Don't be surprised to hear your doctor prescribe more exercise for you. More and more doctors are prescribing exercise for those who are battling obesity. Experts say the trick is making the instructions specific.

Studies show the more concrete the doctor's advice, the more likely a patient is to follow it.

Japan has moved one step closer to lifting a partial ban on US beef. Advisors with the Japanese government accepted US assurances that imported meat will be free of mad cow disease. The ultimate decision is now up to that country's leaders.

And after six months in the hospital the smallest baby ever to survive spent the night at home. The child weighed less than a soda can when she was first born, about 8 and a half ounces. She now weighs 5 pounds 8 ounces.

Doctors say her prognosis is good.
