At about 1 AM Monday, Tulsa Police pulled over a car at 11th and Utica and tried to take a woman into custody for warrant violations.

While talking to her, a male passenger interfered, then resisted arrest and ended up running from the officer.

While that was happening, the woman also tried to escape. Tulsa Police Sgt Mike McMeen: "The female was already cuffed, however she was able to get out of her cuffs, threw them in the car with her, and jumped back into the same car, took off west bound on 11th Street."

Officers soon caught up with her, stopped her again, and took her into custody.

Tulsa Police also found and arrested the man a couple of hours later.
