SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) _ A pair of basketball players from Oklahoma Christian University are named Sooner Athletic Conference players of the week.

Lauren Decker -- a 5-8 guard from Edmond -- averaged 20-point-5 points, 7-point-5 assists and 5-point-5 rebounds in leading the Lady Eagles past U-S-A-O and St. Gregory's last week.

Jarred Merrill -- a 6-9 senior from Abilene, Texas -- recorded a career-high 40 points in a win against U-S-A-O. He shot 67 percent from the field and averaged 29-point-5 points and 10-point-5 rebounds as the Eagles went 2-and-oh last week.
