US Senator Jim Inhofe to visit Iraq

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) _ Senator Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma will join two other US senators on a weekend trip to Iraq.

Inhofe and Senators John Thune of South Dakota and Johnny Isakson of Georgia will make the trip. Inhofe and Thune are members of the Senate Armed Services Committee and say they want to find out what Congress can do to help American troops and Iraq following Sunday's election.

The three will make stops at a military hospital in Germany and an Iraqi police training site in Jordan before getting to Iraq.
