TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ History will be made tonight when Tulsa hosts Rio Grande Valley in a Central Hockey League game tonight.

Angela Ruggiero will become the first female to play in the Central Hockey League at a position other than goalie. Her brother is Oilers' goalie Bill Ruggiero.

The CHL has given its approval to let Angela Ruggiero play, but only for the first period. Tulsa coach Butch Kaebel says Ruggiero will play ``normal shifts'' during the period.
