Snow, snow, and more snow

Snow continues to fall across much of northeastern Oklahoma Friday afternoon. The winter weather is part of a storm system that is moving across Oklahoma from the southwest to the northeast.

Most of the snowfall is expected to taper off later Friday afternoon as the system moves out of the state.

Snowfall amounts amount from an inch to 4 inches across much of northeastern and north-central Oklahoma.

State Department of Transportation officials say much of the snow is turning to slush on many of the roads and bridges across the region. Law enforcement says there have been some traffic accidents, but most have been minor.
