SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ Marquin Chandler had 20 points and 14 rebounds to help San Jose State beat Tulsa 76-to-69.
Jarius Glenn scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half Thursday night for TU, which has lost three of its last four games.
The Spartans took their first lead early in the second half, and held T-U scoreless for nearly four minutes down the stretch. Alex Elam's 3-pointer with 1:50 left gave San Jose State a 69-61 lead.
Glenn hit a jumper to reduce T-U's deficit to three points with ten seconds left, but McFadden made two more free throws and then stole the ball, making a layup at the buzzer for the win.
San Jose State trailed by 14 points in the first half before making a 15-to-2 run.
The loss drops Tulsa to 4-and-13 overall and 1-and-7 in the Western Athletic Conference. San Jose State improves to 5-and-12 and 2-and-6.
