Some students in Tulsa have proved you are never to young to show your patriotism. Some of Tulsa's youngest Americans honored our military men and women Wednesday.

Metro Christian Academy students sang songs and read prayers in special tribute to troops now serving overseas, and all veterans who have already served.

School officials say the celebration allows people like you and me to give back. Carol Kelly with Metro Christian Academy: "We decided to take that time and sing our patriotic songs, pray for our country, pray for our patriots and our heroes fighting for our freedom."

Several veterans were also on hand for Wednesday's ceremony. Each was especially invited by one of the students.
