Two groups from the University of Tulsa have teamed up to row for humanity.
The men's and women's rowing teams and the school's Habitat for Humanity chapter are working up a sweat on these indoor rowing machines to raise $10,000 for a spring building project and to support the local rowing community.
Each rower collected pledges to raise the money and will row about seven miles. Rosemary Tram, Assistant Rowing Coach: "We've been working with Habitat all fall, we built a house for a family in town, and it's great for them to actually use what they get from being strong women and helping out the community."
The Rowing for Humanity is a national event and teams all over the country have been rowing to help out their local Habitat for Humanity organizations.
