ENID, Okla. (AP) _ A New Mexico woman is in critical condition after she apparently jumped from a moving vehicle near US 81 and Wheat Capital.

Officials say 42-year-old Pamela Kay Fletcher was listed in critical condition with massive head and internal injuries.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports say Fletcher was a passenger in a 1987 Chevrolet Astro driven by her husband, Ronnie Fletcher of Roswell, New Mexico.

The vehicle was traveling south on US 81 when Fletcher jumped from the vehicle for unknown reasons. She came to rest in the ditch.
