CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) _ New Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy has hired two assistants from the staff at Illinois.
Illinois head coach Ron Zook says offensive coordinator Larry Fedora and offensive line coach Joe Wickline are taking jobs on Gundy's new staff at OSU.
Fedora and Gundy worked together at Baylor in 1996 and are close friend. Wickline has worked with Fedora for eight years.
Gundy was promoted from offensive coordinator at Oklahoma State on Monday to take over from Les Miles, who was hired by LSU.
Fedora and Wickline were assistant coaches on Zook's staff at Florida and were hired less than a week ago at Illinois, where Zook was hired after resigning at Florida.
