They tried, but fell a bit short. They are a group of ambitious Tulsa musicians and this past weekend, they tried to break a world record for the longest concert ever.

The group is called "The Sitting Ducks". And they hoped to break the record set by a Scotland band, with 42 and half hours of playing.

The Tulsa band played for more than 22 hours. But unfortunately a medical reason kept them from reaching their goal.

They tell the News on 6, they'll try again in about a month.
