OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Numbers from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol show 2004 was a deadly one for motorists on state roads and highways.
The O-H-P reports 753 people were killed on Oklahoma roads in 2004. That compares to 671 traffic deaths statewide in 2003.
The month of December also proved to be a deadly one in 2004, with 57 people killed in traffic accidents. That compares to 46 traffic deaths in 2003.
