An expert on industrial furnaces is due in Muskogee Friday to begin an investigation into Tuesday night's deadly explosion at the Yaffe Iron and Metal Company. The specialist is expected to work with the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration to find out what caused the blast that left two workers dead.
Meanwhile, workers have begun cleaning up the plant site, hoping to reopen it on Monday. 22 people were hurt but all of the injuries are said to be minor.
