Tulsa Police are investigating a double shooting that's left one man dead and his wife in critical condition.

Police were called to a home in the 8800 block of East 77th Street. A man came home to find his parents with gunshot wounds. When officers arrived, they found Jerry Goins dead, his wife Carolyn in critical condition.

Tulsa Police are investigating the shooting as an attempted murder-suicide. A neighbor told the News on 6 the couple has had health problems, but he never expected something like this. Steve Hausam: "Carolyn was at the house a couple of nights ago and was telling us how happy he was to be home for the holidays and be able to spend it with family. It's just a shock. I don't know what else to say."

At last check, Tulsa Police told the News on 6 Carolyn Goins was still in critical condition, but was not expected to live.
