Three people, including a Tulsa Police officer, are recovering after an early Wednesday accident.

Authorities say the officer was called to backup another officer at around 2 o'clock Wednesday morning. The officer was going 33 MPH and didnâ€™t have his emergency lights or siren on, when near 49th and Peoria, police say another driver turned left in front of his car and they collided.

Two people were in that car. All three were taken to area hospitals for observation.
