STIGLER, Okla. (AP) -- A Stigler man has died after the boat he was in capsized on Kerr Lake.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Roclan E. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene at about 7 PM Sunday.

Troopers said four people were in the aluminum boat when it overturned. The driver of the boat and two passengers were able to swim to a nearby island and were rescued at about 11:40 PM. Two were treated for hypothermia.

Smith's body was found in 11 feet of water east of the Tamaha Landing.

Officials are still investigating why the boat overturned. Troopers don't know if any of the occupants were wearing life preservers.
