HEBRON, Ky. (AP) _ Passengers hoping to catch one of Comair's flights from airports in Portland and Bangor, Maine, today may be out of luck.

Portland Transportation Director Jeff Monroe says travelers should expect cancellations to continue at Portland International Jetport at least through today. He said the problem is also affecting traffic at Bangor International Airport.

A Comair spokesman says some 30-thousand travelers in 118 cities were affected overall. The spokesman says the company's computer system for managing flight assignments crashed. He said the system was overwhelmed when the airline tried to adjust for several holiday week cancellations.

The airline is a Delta subsidiary based at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport.
