OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Attorneys and bondsmen visiting clients can't have cell phones in the Oklahoma County jail as part of new regulations unveiled this week.

Sheriff's Captain Kelly Marshall says those visiting the jail can now only have cell phones with them while leaving paperwork and during non-contact visits.

Marshall says the change comes amid concerns of illegal phone calls to inmates' families and pictures being taken with new high-tech cell phones.

Under jail guidelines, inmate photos can be taken only with jail officials' approval and the signature of the pictured inmate.

Marshall says it's possible illegal pictures have been taken, although no reports have been received.
